Happy Anniversary Milk & Honey Café!  Situated in the heart of Beltsville, Maryland or as our locals know it to be on “Route 1;” Milk & Honey Café is authentic southern cuisine that has been elevated to have your palate scream!  Well, at least it did that for me and I was ONLY tasting samples on Monday, October 23rd.  To celebrate their success, Chef Sammy and team decided to honor their patrons for an anniversary celebration at their Maryland location.

I‘ve heard so much hype about Milk & Honey, I had to inquire about being a part of this awesome event. I appreciate Monique for allowing me the opportunity to showcase their huge accomplishment.  What better way to celebrate by trying all their awesome dishes and fan favorites on this day.  Chef Sammy will be relocating to a bigger location further down the road and on this day, Milk & Honey rolled out new menu items that I was able to enjoy.

Vegetable Egg Roll, Dynamite Shrimp, Shrimp & Grits, Philly Cheesesteak Biscuit, and Crab Pappardelle Pasta were the samples passed to all guests.  But first, let’s dig into my favs listed above!  I was such a fan of the Crab Pappardelle Pasta and Philly Cheesesteak Biscuit.  Although the pasta was cold, I enjoyed the flavors and would love to try a bigger version of it.  In my opinion, the biscuit and meat ratio were not equal.  I felt like I was eating more biscuit than meat.  HOWEVER, it was very delicious!  Tender meat, peppers & onions, and very cheesy!  I treated it like an open face sandwich and crushed . . . 😂!  The free flowing of alcohol is always an awesome addition to every occasion and the sweet treats provided by Prissy Sweet Cake were finger licking good and delightful

T-Mac & friends had the pleasure to participate during the VIP Yelp Elite event prior to the main event and won a water bottle and some great treats to take home! Most importantly, I was so excited to see a familiar face and my long time friend since childhood; Ms. Denise (pictured below).  She is a VIP Yelp Elite member and I have not seen this beauty since we were teenagers!! 😍💖😍💖

As I conclude foodies – I had an AMAZING time!! I left full, sleepy, excited, and eager to try the new menu from Milk & Honey!  I must say the food matches the hype of what I have been hearing since its grand opening!!!  Many thanks to Chef Sammy and his beautiful wife Monique.  This dynamic duo are amazing and making magic in the kitchen peeps! I do hope you find the time to visit one of DMV’s favorite brunch spots! ❤️
